These terms cover the website, contact channels and Arctica Academy. The scope of any individual training, consulting or travel service is agreed separately in writing.
1. Use and service provider
You may use the website lawfully without disrupting others’ access or security. Company establishment and the provider’s formal details are not yet complete. These terms alone do not create a paid service contract, reservation or travel package.
2. Information, proposals and contracts
Programme descriptions and sample itineraries are general information. Submitting a form, creating an account or viewing content does not create a payment obligation. Before a paid purchase, the provider’s identity, service scope, total price and taxes, dates, participant numbers, payment, cancellation and refund conditions are provided in writing. A contract is formed through proper acceptance of the relevant proposal.
3. Finland programmes
The seven-day example is not a confirmed booking. University sessions, school observations, visits, transport and cultural activities depend on provider approval and availability. Included and excluded services, teaching language, accommodation, transport, accessibility needs and participation requirements are specified separately in the proposal. Changes are communicated and handled under the agreement and applicable law.
4. University training and certificates
A university name, certificate or academic credit becomes part of a proposal only after the provider and programme are confirmed. The issuing institution, duration and attendance or assessment requirements are stated in writing. A participation certificate does not automatically constitute a degree, professional licence or teaching qualification in Finland. Recognition and equivalency decisions are made by competent authorities.
5. Travel, visas and participant responsibilities
Participants must provide correct information, check passport and visa requirements in time and obtain personal documents. Visa issuance or entry is not guaranteed. Responsibilities for insurance, specific needs and travel documents are set out in the proposal. Where a service constitutes a package or linked travel arrangement, mandatory travel-law information, liability and security requirements remain applicable; these terms do not remove them.
6. Arctica Academy accounts
Accounts are personal. Do not share credentials or access another person’s account. Registration does not unlock all courses; access is limited to assigned training. Duration, prerequisites, language and access expiry are stated in the course proposal. Account or content problems can be reported through the Contact form.
7. Digital content and intellectual property
Videos, text, materials and brand assets belong to ArcticaEdu or their respective rights holders. Access permits personal use or expressly authorised institutional use under the course conditions. Unauthorised republication, sale, circumvention of access controls and distribution to third parties are prohibited. Statutory quotation and other usage rights remain unaffected.
8. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds
Paid-service cancellation and refund conditions are explained before the contract is formed. Applicable statutory consumer rights are preserved. Losing the withdrawal right for distance-sold digital content requires the express prior consent, information and acknowledgement required by law. Simply registering or reading these terms does not waive that right. Different rules may apply to travel packages, date-specific services and business-to-business contracts.
9. Technical access and misuse
Video playback requires a current browser and adequate internet connection. Maintenance or faults may temporarily affect access. Security threats, credential sharing or unlawful use may be restricted proportionately, with appropriate notice where suitable. This does not remove mandatory rights or remedies relating to purchased services.
10. Liability, complaints and changes
Training and consulting support professional development but do not guarantee a particular job, learning outcome, visa or admission. Liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected. Problems and complaints can first be sent through the Contact form. Applicable consumer advice and dispute-resolution channels remain available. Changes are published here; existing contracts and statutory rights are not reduced unilaterally with retroactive effect.
